They say that on average it takes 3-5 IUI attempts to get pregnant. We've even heard numbers like 3.25 attempts. So here we are at the beginning of our 3rd cycle.
It is no longer strange. In fact, it feels pretty routine to come home and jab a needle full of medicine in my belly. We're used to seeing the nurses at the Doctor's office. Spending literally half of our time wondering if we are expecting is just part of the routine. We're getting better about not thinking about it every moment during that wait period.
Last time we took a pregnancy test, Tim wanted to film it. He thinks it will be something cool to show our family, to show a child in the future. No child of ours could ever doubt that they are wanted, that's for sure! There are parents wanting them, grandparents wanting them, aunts and uncles wanting them and even a big sister wanting them....
We're all just sitting here (im)patiently waiting.....
C'mon, baby, let's make this happen! I have a happy, healthy uterus all ready for you to move in.
